a cara.....thank you chris......i stood on the cross in lahardane many a time......opposite the church......i grew up going from fair to fair...and there is not too many.....spots i have not shared the moment.....later on my "lost weekend"...i lived in massbrook where mary robinson now lives....i used to go back to lahardane........as i write i can still see me walking down by massbrook school and the long treck in to the village.....one of the carney lads from sion hill had a travelling butcher shop and i had many a laugh with him on a sunday morning as he sold his mutton......aka ...lamb...
