'The Men will Talk to Me - Mayo Interviews' will be launched by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny TD on Friday 25th April at 6.30pm at Mayo County Library, Castlebar.

It is with great excitement and anticipation that www.mayobooks.ie announce the publication of 'The Men will Talk to Me: Mayo Interviews' by Ernie O'Malley.

This book brings the reader a valuable and interesting account of the War of Independence and the Civil War in Mayo. The deceased author, Ernie O'Malley, collected interviews from Mayo men who fought in the War of Independence. This book, brings these interviews together, in a wonderful collection of primary historical sources.

Dramatic events, including the 'Battle of Tourmakeady' are discussed in the book, and it adds to the already wonderful collection of books, published by Mercier Press written by Ernie O'Malley.
