Carol & Patrick Gorman, Board members of the Dixon Sister City Association launched a cycle run to be undertaken by Councillor Blackie Gavin who will be cycling a distance of over 100 miles from Chicago City to Castlebar Twin Town, Dixon in Illinois. The cycle is part of the fifth anniversary of the town twinning in an effort to build on the relationship between the two towns. Funds raised will go to the ABS school for children with severe autism in Kiltimagh.
