Global Metal Art recently opened the doors of its new gallery in Castlebar displaying the works of the talented Polish metal artist, Pawel Guba. A large number of art-lovers turned out to view the exhibition, including local TD Beverly Flynn and AA Roadwatch broadcaster Louise Duffy.

Global Metal Art, which specializes in artistic blacksmithing and metal works, is located in the Moneen Industrial Estate. The custom-made gallery displays an extensive range of intricate metal creations, from table-lamps, candle holders and coat-stands to larger architectural pieces such as railings, balustrades and light fixtures. All pieces, forged from iron, copper, brass and stainless steel in the Castlebar studio, are created to the highest standard from a unique and innovative mix of handmade techniques and new technology and are destined to set some new trends in home furnishing. Global Metal Art also specializes in restoring and recreating historic and ornamental works.

The Global Metal Art studio is devoted to reviving and restoring the craft and industry of artistic blacksmithing and metal working, with the gallery space in Castlebar intended to be a centre of artistic events for any influential forms of visual art, promoting the works of local and international artists, as well as those of Glaobal Metal Art.
