Seasons Greetings and wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year. Thank you to everyone that has contributed towards the town Christmas Lighting Scheme. This year the lights are costing in the region of £30,000 and while we are receiving a grant of £10,000 from the UDC there is still a long way to go. The confined draw will take place Monday night 18th December. If you have not already contributed please do so. Our conference "Making your website work for you" was a great success and delegate packs from the event are now available. Cost is dependent on receipt of presentations by e-mail or post. In view of the success of the conference we are holding a follow-up seminar in February. Further details will be available shortly. Are there any issues in particular you would like the Chamber to arrange a speaker on? If so, please let us know and we will arrange then in the New Year. Issues that may be of interest include Tax Credits and the new tax year & implementing the Euro at a minimum cost to your business. If you have an e-mail address and wish to receive your monthly mailing from the chamber office by e-mail please let us know. This represents a savings for everyone.
