Green schools Committee 2008 -2009

Being a Green Flag school, Scoil Naomh Aingeal are all Energy aware. Ms English and her Green schools committee are all working hard to help inform the whole school on how to be more energy aware, including turning off lights, closing doors etc

Many classes were delighted to learn so much about energy - renewable and non-renewable, thanks to our inspirational guest speaker from 'An Taisce'.

Third Class had a thrilling morning at our local recycling centre, Derrinumera, Newport. We all brought our 'little bit' for recycling, and were delighted to be given a guided tour of the fabulous facility. We all learnt a huge amount about the centre and recycling.
