Launching Supper will be held in the Pontoon Bridge Hotel on Saturday the 20th of April at 7.30 PM, the tickets cost €32 Euro and can be obtained from Joe McGovern at 098 41109.
All members are invited to attend.

Cruiser Racing will commence on Thursday the 18th of April, there will be a new starting sequence in place in accordance with Rule 26, the starting sequence is as follows warning signal at 5 minutes with “class” flag flying, a preparatory signal at 4 minutes with code “P” flag flying, a sound signal at 1 minute, a sound signal and flags lowered for start, the racing Calendar is enclosed.

Junior Sailing: racing will commence on Sunday 5th of April, the racing Calendar enclosed.

N.O.R.A: will be hosted by Sligo Yacht Club on the 14th 15th and the 16th of June entry

W.I.O.R.A: will be held in Kilrush from the 26th to the 29th of June, entry forms can be obtained from Paul Cussack at 061 325585.

Rescue boats: The club has purchased two boats, a Secu 3.9M that will have a 10 hp O/B engine to be used for the Junior sailing course and a 20ft Norwegian pilot boat with a cabin it has an 18 hp I/B Diesel engine it is fitted out with a fixed VHF radio, compass wind vane and a flagpole. It will be used as a committee boat for the cruiser racing the Junior Sailing course.

Subscriptions: are now due membership forms are enclosed.

Sailing course: There will be an introduction to Sailing course run by Mayo Sailing Club on the 30th of April (shore based) and on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th of May (on the water).
