Clew Bay

This picture was taken in April 2000, from the quay in Westport. You can see a strange jet stream of cloud in the sky.

Enniscrone Beach

This frosty looking picture was taken in October 2001. You can see the tracks of a northern reg 4 X 4 jeep in the foreground. One of the many 4 X 4's that fly up and down the beach impressing the local ladies.

Keem Bay, Achill

Keem Bay Achill, this was taken during the height of the summer in August 2000.You could be easily be mistaken for thinking that this is a scene from the Almalfi coast in Italy. The biggest difference would be around 20° C. This is taken from the look out tower. You can see the road that winds its way back to Keel. I was going to say the road that winds its way back to civilisation, but I could be accused of exaggerating the truth.

Lough Cullin

If you drive between Foxford and Pontoon, you pass by this layby on your journey. You can see Nephin in the background. Lots of Castlebar debutantes would recognise this picture if it was pitch black, because this is the spot where the debs marquees are usually set. This picture was taken in October 2001, around mid-day hence the blue colder light.

This picture was taken in September 2001,late evening. This jetty protects a pipeline that was used to pump water from the lake up to the bacon factory, now the bowling alley. At least 99% of the Saleen Curragh Maryland McHale road diaspora have been thrown in off this jetty. You can see the local trees and bushes have taken advantage of the lack of young raft builders and fishermen.

Turlough Round Tower

This is the round tower in Turlough. Picture was taken in October 2001. It must be one of the fattest round towers in Ireland. Round tower enthusiasts can find another one in Aughagower, Westport. This tower was built by locals in Turlough to see if they could get a better view of Castlebar.

Saleen lake if Ireland is ever to become a socialist state. This was taken in September 2001.

Lough Beltra

This is Lough Beltra. You pass along the shores of this lake when you drive from Castlebar to Belmullet. This picture was taken in Winter 1999.

Tourmakeady Waterfall

This is the waterfall at the end of the forest walk in Tourmakeady.

Neiphin

Nephin, shot from Pontoon, October 2001 around 4pm. Nothing to say here really only that the air isn't as cold as it looks
