Posted by Butch on June 01, 2010 at 09:36:51: I personally re-collect whilst growing up in C.Bar;that I called the colours of the Irish flag as being Green White & Gold.One day as I was riding my mule from the fair at Ballyvary on the road to Turlough I was struck down by a bolt of linen that had fallen from the boot of a passsing travellor's car and my eyes were opened . I proclaimed that's not Gold that's Orange. And you too?.
