Brings back many memories of Castlebar Youth Club, Ramblers Club, the Sunday afternoon "Hops", Whist Drives and the August Weekend Tennis tournament. During the late fifties and early sixties this was the hub for so many activities. Fr. Charlie O Malley and Fr.Tom Shannon did so much for the cultural benefit of the youth of the town. Fr.Tom and Fr.Charlie are no longer with us.R.I.P . Neither is the Pavillion but at least we are left with many happy memories.
