Kickstart 1 Soccer Coach Education Course in Kilmore FC

The Football Association of Ireland are holding a Kick Start 1 Coach Education Course in Kilmore FC on Saturday 14th May from 9am to 5.30pm

Participants must attend all modules of the course in order to qualify for certification. This course is designed to, assist beginner coaches, parents, teachers introduce young children (6-9) to fundamental warm up activities, basic activities and fun games in a safe, structured and stimulating environment. Course fee is €45. This course is limited to 24 participants so book early to avoid disappointment.

Kick Start 1 coaches will receive an FAI Kick Start 1 certificate of attendance as part of the National Coaching Development Programme.

FAI Strength & Conditioning Workshop For 9-12 Year Olds

An FAI Strength and Conditioning Workshop for 9 -12 Year Olds will be held in Milebush Park, Castlebar on Monday 9th May from 7pm to 10pm. The course costs €25. For bookings or more information please contact Paul Byrne on 0868579678

This workshop is designed to assist coaches with a minimum of a Kick Start 1 coaching certificate, to introduce children (aged 9-12 years) to the area of
strength and physical conditioning.

To provide coaches with the ability to:
• Plan, organise and implement a strength and physical
conditioning training session.
• Identify the stages in the physical development of
young players at the age between 9 and 12 years.
• Incorporate a strength and physical conditioning
element into a coaching session.

Course candidates will be Coaches with the minimum of a Kick Start 1 Certificate.

3 contact hours.. There are practical aspects of the course, therefore please bring appropriate attire for both indoor and outdoor use.

ASSESSMENT: Attendance Certificate. Full attendance is compulsory to gain certification.
