Celtic Ladies Dreams Come True

What a week for Castlebar Celtic Girls/ Ladies, with no less thah 4 girls called up for International duty.

Republic of Ireland Senior Coach Sue Ronan has called up Emma Mullen, Castlebar Celtic, to the Irish Womens Senior Squad to play in the Algarve Cup.
The games will take place between February 29th and the 7th March, Teams from all over Europe will descend to Portugal for this competition.

Emma Hansberry, Carol Hegarty, & Jennifer Byrne all Castlebar Celtic, have been called into the Republic of Ireland Under 19 squad to play in a double header in Austria from 20th to 23rd February

Congratulations to all four, on a great achievement, for themselves and their club.

Referees Beginners Course

A referee beginners course will be held in Milebush Park Castlebbar on Saturday and Sunday 25th and 26th February from 10am to 4-30am. A fee of € 65 is payable at the start of the course.

The Mayo referee's branch are hoping that they will get a good response to this course and would make a special appeal to all clubs to inform their members who might be interested in taking up this course, also a special appeal to the ladies who would like to become referees.
