Crimlin Community Arts - Batafada Christmas Concert

This weekend be sure to come along to the Crimlin Community Arts Christmas Concert for a night of superb entertainment. Batafada Pipe Band and Samba Band along with a variety of highly talented young Irish Traditional Music groups and local original bands such as Left Loose and Joe McHale will perform their Christmas Concert in Burren Hall community centre just a short distance from Castlebar. The Batafada collective have represented Ireland in the Europeade Summer Music Festival in Denmark, Switzerland and Germany over the last 7 years performing to international audiences of over 8,000 people. In 2011 they took part in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Savannah, Georgia. Performing locally this Christmas will be a display of the sheer talent that each young musician and performer has reached this year. Our Concert begins at 7.30pm with a break for some light wholesome refreshments and raffle. This event is open to all to enjoy and all are welcome. Recent renovations have rejuvenated the Burren Hall to a place where music can be celebrated, relished and loved.
