Tsunami Disaster Appeal: Castlebar Rotary Club and Civil Defence are collecting for the South Asia Disaster Fund today Saturday outside Castlebar Supermarkets and on Main Street. A special collection is also being held in Castlebar Parish Churches this weekend.

Tsunami Walk: An impromptu walk in Castlebar last Sunday, 2nd Jan 2005, raised €12,000 for the Red Cross Asian Disaster relief.
