Matt and Mary Jo McCormick
Seeking: Quigley
Comments: We just returned from a brief visit to Ireland and Castlebar. We visited the farm in Sarnaught where Mary Jo's mother grew-up. We would welcome any information web visitors may have on the Quigley family. James (Jim) Quigley returned to Ireland from Chicago, and married another returnee Kate Burke sometime after 1910. They had five children; Patrick, James, John, Ellen and Bridget. All these children eventually emigrated to England.

Can anyone give us some information on this family? We know about Mary Jo's mother (Ellen), as well as about her sister Bridget. Does anyone know where the Quigley and Burke families originate from, be it from Mayo or elsewhere in Ireland?

In addition, we would welcome any information on James (senior) and Kate Quigley. Were they originally from Castlebar/Mayo, or from elsewhere in Ireland?

We enjoyed our stop-over in Mayo, and look forward to any messages.
