Watch 2000 years of tradition explode in the world's greatest acrobatic circus!

The Chinese State Circus present "Yin Yang".

The action
-packed Chinese State Circus show ‘Yin Yang’ is the embodiment of a traditional art form which can trace its history back over 2000 years. This stunning production lives and breathes with the enthusiasm of its acrobatic artistes, whose whole lives centre around their skills. The result is the purest, honest, most abiding and exhilarating people circus that is a true privilege to see. From the very beginning, it’s non-stop entertainment, consisting of very impressive human abilities, tricks and skills.

China’s greatest circus features the most daring, breath-taking and thrilling artistes to tour the world, including the first UK appearance of the formidable Shaolin Master known as
“The One", sourced specifically by Director Phillip Gandey.

Witness acrobats defying gravity as the ancient discipline ‘Icarian Games’ returns to centre stage. This act, rarely seen in circus arts, is steeped in tradition and is a remarkable display of human juggling, where the human body becomes catapult and catcher in an elaborate, explosive and highly choreographed presentation of power, poise and agility.

The show also features the amazing legendary ‘Bicycle Act’, thrilling audiences while 12 artistes manoeuvre onto a single bicycle!

Marvel at the unpredictable and exhilarating twists of foot-juggling with drums, the famous swinging poles, the sensational contortionist and the dynamic hoop divers with their amazing somersaults, leaps and jumps which all go towards completing this action packed programme.

Each sensational act flows into the next, without narrative, and is accompanied by a captivating and atmospheric all girl group of live musicians.

Suitable for audiences of all ages, with evocative sets, soaring musical scores and extravagant new costumes, this will entertain the entire family long after the final curtain falls. This will not disappoint – just don’t try it at home!

"The most exhilarating circus it has ever been my privilege to see"
London Evening Standard.

"Never has such excitement been generated in a theatre...the whole audience hangs breathless!"
Manchester Evening News.
