Mise Art Space is proud to present 'Hexis' New Paintings by Will O'Kane

A new series of portraits and figure studies that draws on the notion of Hexis, an ancient Greek term that has been in reused in recent sociological theory. The term is merely a reference to the manner, attitude and disposition of the individual and his or her interaction with social systems.  This finds a correlation with the new paintings of Will O’Kane, in the execution and focus on various sitters as well the representation of the individual in various forms of commercial media. The paintings are executed in an energised style that is representative of current contemporary painting trends.
