A Visit to Boa Island with Mayo Historical & Archaeological Society.

The photo below, taken some years ago on a Mayo Historical & Archaeological Society field-trip to Northern Ireland, show guides Leo Morahan and Gerry Walsh and a section of the group who visited Caldragh graveyard, Boa Island, Co. Fermanagh, to view the famous carved Janus figure in the foreground. The graveyard is situated at the northern end of Lower Lough Erne and the ancient figure attracts many visitors each year.
