Castlebar’s under 12 team were in action recently in Dangan Galway. Conditions were perfect and the pitches were well marked out for an exciting day’s rugby. The team were drawn in the same group as Athlone, Westport and Corinthians. After some excellent rugby the team finished 2^nd in their group beating Westport and Corinthians. As a result they were drawn to play Monivea who had come out on top of their group. Once again they were magnificent with running rugby and top class determination and the result was a draw with one try to each team. Sadly it was not to be enough with Monivea scraping through. The lads can be justifiably proud of their performance and the club is very proud of the way they composed themselves and played. Truly a team to keep an eye on.

Castlebar RFC are holding a special presentation night in the clubhouse on Thursday night the 13^th of May to bring the curtain down an excellent season for our mini rugby players. This year has been nothing short of brilliant with some new talent unveiled and all teams doing themselves and their club very proud. A special invitation has also gone out to all parents to come out and join in the celebrations as without their support the mini rugby club could not survive. All players and parents are asked to be out at the clubhouse at 6.30 with the start at 7pm. A photographer will be in attendance with a special feature in the Connacht Telegraph next week.

Annual General Meeting
The A.G.M. of Castlebar RFC will be held on Wednesday 26th May at 8.00 in the Clubhouse at Cloondeash. All members are asked to attend
