Applications are now being accepted for the first year of TALENT RISING 2008-
Connaught’s unsigned music competition!
Talent Rising 2008- The competition that searches for Connaught’s best unsigned bands and solo musicians -including an industry expert judging panel and offering prizes that come to the value of over €10,000- is now accepting application forms! Entry forms - see downloadable word file included as an attachment to this article below - or available from the Royal Theatre, Castlebar.
This is a unique opportunity for bands and solo artists alike to be in with a chance to win prizes including;
FIVE DAYS RECORDING TIME in a professional recording studio, with accommodation provided whilst recording and five hundred full colour pressed CD’s courtesy of Tanglewood Guitars Ireland!
Alongside this, prizes include top of the range packages of equation microphones including: Professional Drum Pack including Rim Mounts, Professional hand held microphones and sets of Studio headphones courtesy of West Coast Audio,
as well as must have prizes from the Music Store, Castlebar and Cash prizes of up to €1,000 are all up for grabs!
Application forms must be handed in by Friday 13th of June with entry fee.
Applicants will be contacted with the time and date of their preliminary heat.
