Eleven members went on the club's evening outing to Newport last Thursday evening and enjoyed a pleasant evening practising their skills on low light and night photography there.

This Thursday evening will be the final round in the Clubs photographer of the year competition, the theme for this round is sport and it will be interesting to see how members work with this challenging theme.

 On Sunday March 30th. John Walsh and Michael O'Sullivan travelled to Mullingar for the Regional round of The Irish Photographic Federations National Photo finals. On this occasion our luck was out as we were narrowly pipped into fourth place overall and did not qualify for the finals. This result will be closely analysed to ensure we get to the finals next year.
