Members will have a busy week this week as on Wednesday evening next a group are travelling to meet members of Galway Camera Club at their weekly meeting on Wednesday evening next bringing a selection of their photographs including their distinction panels on disc to show their colleagues in Galway Camera Club.
On Thursday evening 17th a group will travel up from Galway for a return session in Castlebar. This will start at 7.45pm sharp in room SR14 GMIT, Castlebar. It looks like two evenings of photography not to be missed so be sure to be there on time.
Last weeks Sport competition had one of our lowest entries ever, Is Mayo as Sports mad as the papers would have us believe? In colour Michael Gannon took 1st. & 3rd. place with Sheridan Gilmartin in 2nd, while in black & white; Michael Gannon came 3rd. Chris Reilly came 2nd. and in 1st. place Michael Gannon. Next months topic is Street photography and we look forward to the usual large and varied entry for this competition.
