Passing of Mr. Ray Wiseman.
The members of the club have been saddened to learn of the death of Mr. Ray Wiseman. He, and his wife June, have endeared themselves to all since they moved to the area from England several years ago and involved themselves in the club activities.
Ray specialised in landscape and underwater photography, and on occasion, he would treat the members to a slideshow showing some of his underwater work. Strange looking fish, plants, and other underwater features never failed to fascinate. One of his presentations showed many eerie images of the scuttled W.W.1 German Fleet at Scapa Flow.
Ray was undoubtedly an accomplished photographer but perhaps his greatest contribution to the club was his cheerful presence and good fellowship. Where Ray was, there was a laugh.
To his wife June, to his family, and extended family, we offer our sincere sympathy.
