The Psychology of Effective Living

PARISH BINGO - CHANGE
OF VENUE
Parish Bingo will now be held in the Welcome Inn
Hotel every Tuesday night at 8.45p.m. (instead of the Town Hall).
Mission Sunday Collection amounted to £5896. We thank everyone who gave to this
collection.
INDULGENCES
From 12 noon on Nov. 1st
until mid-night on Nov. 2nd all who have confessed, received Holy
Communion and prayed for the Pope’s intentions (one Our Father and Hail Mary)
can gain one plenary indulgence by
visiting a church, praying for the dead and reciting one Our Father and the Apostle’s
Creed. By visiting a Cemetery and
praying for the dead you may gain a plenary indulgence for the Holy souls
once per day from Nov. 1st to Nov. 8th.
HOLY SOULS
There will be Mass each
weekday evening during Nov. at 7.30p.m. in the Parish Church. Mass will include Novena prayers on Mon.
nights. The evening Masses will be
offered for the dead mentioned in November lists which should be left in the
box provided in the sanctuary. No money please.
The Collection on 1st
of Nov. will be for students for the priesthood.
