Have you ever sat there admiring the Castlebar Pantomime stage, the scenery, the costumes, walked past posters or heard people talking about a show & wondered what it would be like to be involved in a Castlebar Pantomime production? Perhaps you would like to be involved in the behind the scenes activity of Pantomime? Perhaps you would enjoy being on stage in a principal role or would you prefer to join the chorus? Is singing, dancing & enjoying yourself in the 2012 production of "Cinderella" is the way you would like to spend your time from September 2011 to January 2012?

Should you wish to join the Senior Chorus, audition for a principal role or wish to volunteer to help with set construction, costume creation etc., auditions for anyone over 18 years who wishes to take part on stage will be held from 8pm to 10pm on the 05th, 07th, 12th, 14th of September 2011 at Theatre Royal, Castlebar. Again this will be well advertised by posters, signage, radio & newspaper adverts. Naturally any creative people wishing to help out back stage do not have to audition - all help is gratefully accepted. Adult auditions are held by informally reading through a script & if you wish, to also perform a short vocal audition if it is your first audition. Those wishing to join the Chorus can put their names forward at auditions & can express their interest in either singing or dancing or both. Auditions are informal & all that is asked of you whether in the Chorus or as a Principal is that you reasonably attend all rehearsals & respect the standard set by previous Pantomimes in learning lines or routines. In return you will be making some potential life long friends, spending winter nights doing something less taxing then working; going to the gym etc & most of all Castlebar Pantomime will be fun!
