The story of hapless Jack, Jack, having taken the unwilling Daisy to market is tricked out of his money, and returns home with a handful of beans. These beans, when thrown out of the window by his disgusted mother, are in fact 'Magic' beans, and a giant beanstalk grows on stage. The delightful combination of elements such as the magic beans, the castle in the clouds, the golden hen, singing harp and Jack’s encounter with Giant Blunderbore has enthralled generations over the years.
