The Club will continue to hold a general committee meeting on the second Tuesday of every month.

The first meeting of the new committee will be held on Tuesday June 12^th in the clubhouse at 8.00 pm .

Castlebar RFC Reunion Weekend

The Club Hosted a very successful reunion weekend in Castlebar on the weekend of the 19^th and 20^th of May. Past players who had worn the jersey in the past arrived to share their memories over a weekend that also saw the unveiling of the club’s president’s board at the clubhouse. The club would like to thank the management and staff of the Welcome Inn Hotel and TF Royal hotel and Theatre for their excellent facilities and a special word of Congratulations to the committee for a job well done.  

Underage Awards

The underage stars of Castlebar RFC were honoured at a special event held at Cloondeash on Thursday week last.   It was an ideal way to end the season that saw Castlebar Take two Connaught shield titles and certainly proves that the future is very bright in the club.

Summer Scrummage

Castlebar will once again host a Summer Scrummage camp run by the Connacht Branch of the IRFU and Sponsored by Ulster Bank in late July and Early August. Details are available through the Connaught Branch Website www.connachtrugby.ie and are open to boys and girls from 6-13 years.

Rag Rugby 2007
