Last Friday, April 10th saw the release of a brand new, Castlebar based Holistic health and Celtic spirit magazine called Atlantis Éire. Based at Linenhall St, this exciting new publication covers all things holistic while also featuring historical and educational articles, with it's first issue having no less than 3 articles about our beloved and local landmark, Croagh Patrick.

We span across a comprehensive range of subjects which include holistic therapies, Celtic culture and traditions, Irish poetry, Irish and Celtic folklore, to name just a few. We feature Irish artists and photographers, while also covering Astrology, Numerology and archaeology, with a sprinkle of everyday life.

Atlantis Éire is the brain child of local business man and shop owner, Aldo Jordan, who with his partner Helen, runs a successful Holistic store and Therapy rooms on Linenhall st, Castlebar. "Every day we are asked about some of the items we sell, everything from which Crystal should I use? What are the benefits of Himalayan Salt? I have some questions about my life I need answers to, which Psychic would you recommend? What therapy should I get? to name a few. While being happy to answer all those and more, I thought it may be an exciting venture to publish a magazine where we could feature all those answers and more, and hopefully provide and educational and informative service, while also covering our historical sites and doing so in a light hearted way. We are very excited about publishing our own magazine and wish to thank everybody involved.

Our first issue for example, features articles on Dreamcatchers, the power of healing Crystals, an ancient history of Croagh Patrick from 3 different writers perspectives, a crystal & Reiki healing feature, some poetry, articles on Soul Retrieval, Addiction and Numerology, to name a few. There is also a competition page where readers have the chance to win a beautiful Himalayan Salt lamp.

Atlantis Éire, is available to buy in nearly 700 outlets, including Eason's Castlebar, Supervalu, Topaz, Centra, Londis and many, many more.
