A well known Castlebar citizan who is not a computer whizzkid has asked me to mention the following with your permission.....

"Last week I had a mishap when I fell off the footpath between Mc Donalds roundabout and the church area, I was also bloodied and in shock. A gentleman came to my assistance, lifted me up and asked if he should ring an ambulance for me to which I replied no thanks. He then went back to his car put on hazard lights, brought tissues from his car and attended to me. As I was in shock at the time I forgot to ask him his name or to take his car registration number.
