Information Night on Local Food Production with Trevor Sargent T.D. and Seamus Sheridan, Sheridans Cheesemongers on November 26th 2007 in the Travellers Friend Hotel, Castlebar, at 8pm.

Trevor Sargent T.D., Minister of State for Food and Horticulture, will be speaking at the event along with Seamus Sheridan of award winning Sheridan’s Cheesemongers (Galway, Waterford and Dublin).   Trevor will talk about the importance of local food economies.   Seamus will talk about the practical side of ensuring, and selling, traceable, quality local food.

The evening will be of interest to anyone involved in food production, distribution, retailing, or indeed just in eating high quality local food.
