There are many of us who have terrific memories of the Tennis Pavilion. Just thinking of the hops, the discos, youth club, ramblers club, Irish dancing, gymnastics, watching Kevin Bourke's Royal Chords practise, the Leaders, the Pioneer socials, and that's just some of the activities outside of tennis. And of course that's where boy met girl in Castlebar many moons ago.....

Some say that all good things have to come to an end sometime, and so it is with the wonderful Pavilion. The end of an era in Castlebar is to be marked next Friday night in the Pavilion with the "Final Fling" and you are all invited. So please pass the word along, there will of course be music from the 60's era and naturally, refreshments will be served and you never know, there may even be a raffle, but this time around, we won't have to thank the parish priest for the use of the hall! A small contribution at the door will be appreciated.

Before the doors are closed for good, let us have one last night of craic and nostalgia at the "Final Fling" in the Pavilion on Friday 4th September at 9 pm. Be there and cherish the memories .....those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.....
