Ryanair Celebrates New Daily Ireland West Knock to Liverpool Flights - with Special Offer Fares* from €1!

On Monday 27^th October 2008, Ryanair commenced a new daily service from Ireland West Knock to Liverpool John Lennon Airport and announced a special promotional fare from €1 (including taxes and charges*) on flights to Liverpool, Bristol and East Midlands from Ireland West Airport Knock. As well as the four-times-a-week services to East Midlands and  Bristol International Ryanair also offers daily schedule services from Ireland West Knock to London Luton and Stansted airports in addition to the new daily Liverpool service.  It is expected that this latest expansion by Ryanair at Ireland West Knock will generate an estimated 100,000 additional annual passengers at the Airport.

Welcoming the new route, Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Stephen McNamara said: “We are delighted to launch this exciting new service from Ireland West Airport Knock to Liverpool. Ryanair now offers our guaranteed lowest airfares and no fuel surcharge to five UK destinations to/from Ireland West Knock.  To date, Ryanair have flown over 2.8 million passengers through Ireland West Knock Airport proving the continued success and growth of the West and North West Market and delivering much needed employment and tourism revenue to the region.”

Annette Kearney, Marketing and Route Development Manager of Ireland West Airport Knock welcomed Ryanair’s latest expansion saying: “This new daily jet route to Liverpool on leading low fares airline Ryanair, is the third new route added by the airline within the last year and it enhances the Airport’s ever expanding network of scheduled jet flight services to key UK destinations.
