Welcome to our annual Spirit of Entrepreneurship Evening
Every year, since 2006, The Innovation Hub at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology in Mayo has hosted a ‘Spirit of Entrepreneurship' evening.
As well as celebrating entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity, we also use our event as a stage to inspire and encourage people from all walks of life - who may not have the knowledge and confidence to pursue their own business ideas. Over the years the event has grown from hosting a small number of attendees to several hundred, and it has become an important platform for our audience to gain valuable insight by listening to those who are successfully established in business.

John McGuire, Founder of Game Golf and client of the iHub, now occupies an office in Silicon Valley and has successfully managed to scale Game Golf, generate investment and generate endorsements from high profile individuals.

Colm Lyon, 2005 finalist of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Award and Founder of Realex Payments, has successfully grown and recently sold in March 2015 this business to Global Payments in a deal valued at €115m.
