ÁIRC is having a fundraiser in December to raise money for emergency respite grants and also to equip a sensory room that has been provided to us by the HSE PCCC. Due to so many cutbacks over the last year we parents have decided to take matters into to our own hands in whatever ways we can, to help other families in our county. The respite grants will give those families most in need a night or two off and the sensory room will provide a venue for children with special needs to relax or receive therapeutic interventions.

It is a great local community group and we would appreciate any support that you can give us particularly in raising awareness of the needs of families that contain at least one member with a disability.

AIRC-Supporting Children with Disabilities in Mayo are having a Festive Feast on the 9th of December at Breaffy House Hotel, Castlebar. Complimentary drink on arrival, buffet style dinner and a variety of entertainment will ensure you enjoy every moment from the second you arrive to the minute you reluctantly leave! Raffle with fantastic prizes and give aways throughout the night. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets available from Breaffy House Hotel or the Istore, Market Lane Westport.
