in Castlebar have organised a special Grandparents and Families Mass
in the town in the run-up to Christmas.
Mass on Sunday, December 6th, will be the first official
activity of the newly-formed local branch of the Catholic Grandparents

of Mass together. This will be the weekly 12.30pm Mass, and it will
have a special emphasis on the family, with readings and Prayers of
the Faithful by grandparents and grandchildren,” explained Angela

and the Mass will be followed by Benediction.

Lady’s Choir will perform at the Mass. The Catholic Grandparents Association
was launched in Knock Shrine in September, at the third annual National

at the next meeting of the Castlebar branch on Thursday, November 26th,

Castlebar branch of the Catholic Grandparents Association was formed
at a meeting in the Traveller’s Friend Hotel, Castlebar, on Tuesday
