W32/Badtrans@MM is a nasty one that replies to your unread email messages and may send private information back to the originator of the virus.
Watch out for the following list as attachments:
Card.pif docs.scr fun.pif hamster.ZIP.scr Humor.TXT.pif images.pif New_Napster_Site.DOC.scr news_doc.scr Me_nude.AVI.pif Pics.ZIP.scr README.TXT.pif s3msong.MP3.pif searchURL.scr SETUP.pif Sorry_about_yesterday.DOC.pif YOU_are_FAT!.TXT.pif
Double extensions are a real warning sign especially after SirCam. An underline in the To: address is another danger sign - delete on sight.
A lot of blank messages with RE: as the title and a 40k attachment have also been doing the rounds.
Once you are infected it's quite difficult to get rid of it - check out: McAfee Advice
Really the only answer is to have an up-to-date virus checker installed on your computer and schedule the update to run regularly - daily.
