In association with the Castlebar Chamber of Commerce, StreamBeam Telecommunications are evaluating the potential for significant improvements to the Internet access with Broadband service for the businesses and residents of Castlebar. We plan to provide high bandwidth access throughout the town early in 2003. We will only be able to offer this if there is sufficient demand so we need you to return the mail slip below by Friday November 8th to confirm your interest.

High speed internet access has already been delivered successfully to the schools of County Mayo using high bandwidth technology. Art O'Sullivan, M Ed & ICT, IT Advisor for Co Mayo says that "the fast response times and efficient access to the WorldWideWeb is creating a firm foundation to broaden the knowledge and experience of pupils in Co Mayo, enabling them to compete against anyone in the world, and echoing the objectives of the Information Age Schools programme".

The service will give you the ability to have an "always on" access to the Internet with shared access to 2mbps or faster service. Three tariffs will be available - please see the table below -but don't forget that your dial up access today is probably costing you 50-75% of these charges, assuming you can get connected!
