Parke Arts & Drama Group Presents -

The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley at The Linenhall

Gabriel Foley is a middle-aged bachelor farmer, who lives with his elderly mother. He has been unlucky in love many times, much to his mother's frustration. She thinks she'll never get rid of him, or become a Grandmother. Then to her dismay he meets upmarket, Hazel Myers and joins the posh drama group in the nearby town in order to romance her. But little does Gabriel realise that true love is closer to home than he realised! He is unaware that Chrissie McHale a cheerful countrywoman, who comes in as a Home Help, fancies him! By the time Chrissie makes her feelings known to Gabriel, he has already got Hazel's attention. He and Chrissie decide to try going out together. He tries to let Hazel down gently, but Hazel is not a woman to give up easily.....

Directed by Michael Rice with Producer Vincent McHale, assisted back stage by Mary Mahon, Bríd Quinn, Emily Connor, Ann Connor & Marion Daly the experienced Parke Drama cast of "The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley" consists of Richie Wynne as Gabriel Foley, Maria Jordan as Chrissie McHale, Karen Conway as Hazel Myers, Fiona Campbell as Gabriel's Mother Aggie, Ann Marie O'Malley making her debut with the group as Gabriel's Aunt Aggie, Ger Minogue as Clive Snell, Joanne Deane as Morag Delamere & Seamus Beirne as Liam Gavigan.
