Originally from Westport, Co. Mayo, Traditional harpist Laoise Kelly has been involved in more than 50 recordings with artists as varied as Steve Cooney, Sinéad O'Connor, The Chieftains and Kate Bush. But one of the highlights of her recording career is the extraordinary album The Wishing Well, made with fiddle player Michelle O'Brien. Michelle is from Toonagh, Co. Clare. She has an All-ireland Fiddle title and Pan-Celtic Fiddle title to her credit, teaches at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance in Limerick, and performs at many Festivals throughout Ireland and Europe.
