The annual Republic of Ireland Bodybuilding Federation event (RIBBF) took place on April 30th in the University Concert Hall, Limerick.
Castlebar man John Van Den Oosten, Ranjit Dhillon and Aaron Neary competed in this year's competition. Representing JC Physique Fitness, all three men came home with their heads held high after winning numerous awards.

John Van Den Oosten, son of Johnny and Ann competed for his second year in a row. Last year John came second in the Men's Physique U178 category but this year he was aiming higher and was placed first in the same category. He then went on to win the Overall Champion 2017 award.
Speaking after the event John stated how he was "overwhelmed and delighted with the results and it makes all the hard work well worth it".
Also representing JC Physique Fitness, was Ranjit Dhillon who came 1st place in the over 178 cm Men's Physique and Aaron Neary who came 5th place in the over 178 cm Men's Physique.
