The second annual 'Challenge The Greenway' event organized by Johnny Oosten was once again held in March of this year supporting the Cystic Fibrosis build at Mayo General Hospital. The challenge was to walk,run,or cycle the 43k route from Achill to Westport. On a bitterly cold day with easterly winds,we are delighted to say that all that took part, finished the event and by doing so have helped the committee make this build possible.

A special thank you to Sheena Van Den Oosten for the design of www.challengethegreenway.com. The website this year was voted the best charity website in the country and picked up an Eircom Spider Award.
