Starring Nick Jonas, Matt Lucas, Lea Salonga and

Alfie Boe with a

supporting cast of more than 250, this will be a historical date on

the musical theatre calendar.

Another exclusive for Mayo Movie World in Co. Mayo as Cameron Mackintosh presents a brand new 25th anniversary production of Boublil & Schönberg's legendary musical, LES MISÉRABLES, with glorious new staging and spectacular reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. This new production has already been acclaimed by critics, fans and new audiences and is breaking box office records across the UK. Cameron Mackintosh is now ‘Bringing her Home' to play at the Barbican Theatre in London (where it originally premiered in 1985) as part of the show's 25th Anniversary celebrations.

This exciting new production has new direction and spectacular new designs inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo, and stars John Owen-Jones as ‘Jean Valjean', Earl Carpenter as ‘Javert' and Gareth Gates as ‘Marius'. Music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, adapted by Trevor Nunn and John Caird, with additional material by James Fenton. This new production is directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell and designed by Matt Kinley inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. Original costumes by Andreane Neofitou, additional costumes by Christine Rowland, lighting by Paule Constable and sound by Mick Potter.
