Parke Arts & Drama Group

Following 2 very successful productions, in 2009 and 2010, the Parke Arts & Drama Group is beginning preparations for its 2011 production.  The Group are currently reading scripts looking for an appropriate Play.  This process will be completed in the next 2/3 weeks and then the Group will be able to commence the auditioning and rehearsal process.

The Group is always looking for new blood to join the Cast and Crew.  Last year the Group unearthed a number of new talents for the stage and they hope to do the same again for the next production.  If you think you would be interested in joining the Group in any capacity - as an actor or backstage member, male or female - please contact Vincent McHale on 087 4106496 or any member of the Group.  It is a well worthwhile experience, you require no previous stage experience only the desire and willingness to participate in a fun activity where you will meet new people and make great new friends.  It will only take a few hours of your time each week and in return you will have the experience of a lifetime.

The Group has also recently set up a website that gives information on the Group and what it does; why not pay a visit to the site:

Last year the Group successfully raised €1,750 for Charity with its sell-out production of A Wake in The West.

For more information you can contact Vincent McHale Tel. 087 4106496 or by Email: he'd be delighted to hear from you.  You can also contact any other Group member.  The Group will be meeting every Tuesday in September in Parke Community Centre at 8.30pm.
