Lá Fhéile Bríde
Our classes recently celebrated St Brigid's Day. Fourth Class celebrated the life and story of St Brigid in our February assembly and third and fourth class had a special St Brigid's Day Mass in the Church of the Holy Rosary on the eve of Lá Fhéile Bríde. Second, third and sixth classes made St Brigid's crosses.
It was lovely to see and hear all the traditional stories about Naomh Bríd and the many Irish customs associated with her, including the "Brídeog."
