International Women's Day takes place annually on Monday 8 March. Mayo Intercultural Action and Le Chéile Community and Family Resource Centre, in conjunction with other agencies in Castlebar, are organising an event to celebrate this historic day.

This is an ideal opportunity for women to come together, meet with others from a variety of different countries and cultural backgrounds, to share their stories and experiences and celebrate their lives as women living in Ireland today.

On the day, people can participate in a number of activities such as storytelling, crafts, intercultural singing, relaxation techniques, etc. Lunch will be provided and all members of the public are welcome to attend. There no admission charge. So, come along to Le Chéile Family Resource Centre, (on Tucker St., Castlebar) between 11 and 2 to celebrate International Women's Day!! Fáilte roimh chách.
