Taoiseach Enda Kenny led almost 400 cyclists in a 100km cycle organised by Mayo Pink Ribbon last Saturday. For the second year running, cyclists from all over the country participated in the event organised by Mayo Pink Ribbon for breast cancer research. People in towns and villages all along the cycle route decorated their homes and businesses in pink in a heart-warming display of solidarity with all those dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis. This year's cycle alone has raised more than €80,000 and this money will be used to support research into the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Well done to those who cycled and all those who sponsored them.
