The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation held a protest by student nurses and their qualified colleagues at Mayo General Hospital on 9th Feb.

This was part of nationwide protests against proposals to cut the pay of 4th year student nurses from the current 80% of a qualified nurse's wage to nil by 2015.
