Last Monday October 8th the R.S.A. launched National Road Safety Week with a presentation by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny of high visibility vests to the Junior Infants of Snugboro N.S.

The Taoiseach also raised the 5th Green Flag which has been recently awarded to the school.

The day was a marvellous success and the Taoiseach and invited guests were taken on a tour of the school including the sensory garden and later entertained by musical performance in the school's sports hall.

Congratulations to the Green Schools Co-ordinator, Ann Murrihy, the Green School Committee and all the staff and pupils on this wonderful achievement.
