A picture is better than a thousand words, and this photo by Aiden Clarke brings back a memory of a beautifully warm and bright summer's day, the 15th August, 2003. It shows the late Gerry Cribbin of Ballyhaunis and his friend, Christine Zucchelli of Innsbruck, Austria, on the Caher Island pilgrimage.
Gerry had a passion for history, archaeology and folklore, and he assisted Christine Zucchelli, in the research of her book -
Stones of Adoration - Sacred Stones and Mystic Megaliths of Ireland, which has just been published by The Collins Press, ISBN: 1905172368 Hardback.
