The Davitt Museum at Straide, the birthplace of the great Irish Patriot Michael Davitt is open to visitors.
Opening Hours :- Monday - Saturday 10am - 4.30 pm.
Sunday opening :- 2pm - 5 pm.

The friendly staff will be delighted to welcome you and show you the many artefacts and tell you the story of Michael Davitt who helped stamp out landlordism in Ireland, and gave the tenants the right to own their own property.
